What is CLIC?
CLIC (Cultivating Leaders and Inspiring Community) is a sustainable student leadership program that creates lasting change. We help school leaders empower the student leaders in the school to create a positive, collaborative culture using a simple framework. The teachers, administrators, and counselors in your school become instrumental in setting the environment to allow student leaders to create a school culture that everyone can be proud of. This Is Done in five steps:
1. Realize that your STUDENTS create the culture in your school
2. Identify the student leaders in your building that WANT school to be a better place
3. Work with those student leaders to teach them to mentor first-year students through their first year of high school
4. Follow the year-long calendar for important implementation dates
5. Watch the magic! Sustainable, lasting change that is created and implemented by students year after year! This process increases student ownership of their school and culture, and negative behaviors decrease as a result!

CLIC is designed to develop leaders who will create positive relationships, community connections, and intentional kindness in and out of the classroom.
