The first year of the CLIC program involves a transformational journey of individuals to improve the culture of the school as a whole. We use the roundtable method of growth. This method has been used in countries all over the world to make positive changes in culture and communities. Improving the culture of an organization changes the expectations, and creates an environment of possibilities, rather than limitation. |
Year OneThe first year focuses on individual development facilitated by a small group of student leaders. Each of us making a change improves ALL of us. This is the beginning of creating the culture of excellence that your students will leave as a legacy. Years of continued success will be the expectation after this culture is created by YOUR students in YOUR school. |
Year TwoYear two focuses on working together to improve the climate within the school, and emphasizes the idea that WE is greater than ME. It includes being intentional about creating the culture, climate, and community partners needed to make our school great! |
Beyond year 2...Year three and beyond involves moving from developing school climate to improving the communities the schools are in. Students should be involved in at least one local service project as well as a global service project. Create the legacy... |
